Nuvi is designed solely for nutritional self-awareness, dietary tracking, and general wellness education. Nuvi is not a medical device, nor does it provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The recommendations, calorie targets, and photo estimates provided by the app are educational approximations and should never replace consultation with a physician, registered dietitian, or certified medical specialist. If you have an eating disorder, diabetes, pregnancy-related dietary constraints, or any medical condition, seek professional medical guidance before starting any diet or fitness program.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Nuvi (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use Nuvi.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Service Functionality & Nutritional Estimates

Nuvi uses advanced image processing and nutritional databases to recognize foods and estimate portions, calories, and macronutrients:

Approximations: Food recognition accuracy may vary based on photo lighting, meal presentation, unseen sauces, or preparation methods. All estimates are presented for user review and can be edited before confirmation.
User Responsibility: You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all entries in your food diary.

4. User Content & Meal Photos

When you photograph meals or upload photos to Nuvi, you retain all ownership rights to your images. You grant Nuvi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to process and analyze the images for the purpose of delivering nutritional analysis and improving your personal experience.

You agree not to upload images that are unlawful, offensive, harmful, or violate any third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Nuvi, you agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or design tokens from the App.
Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the stability of our networks and infrastructure.
Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security mechanisms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Nuvi name, mascot, logos, visual designs, icons, typography, and original software code are the intellectual property of Nuvi and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Termination and Account Cancellation

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time via the in-app Settings or through our Account Deletion Page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the safety and integrity of our community.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nuvi and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, health complications, or data arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When modifications are made, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
